Formed in 2006, the Céilí of the Valley
Society is dedicated to promoting and perpetuating Irish
heritage and culture in the Willamette Valley, primarily
through social events that incorporate music and dance.
We host a Tuesday Evening Dance Series of sean-nós
(old style) Irish dance, Céilí and set
dancing taught by Maldon
Meehan, who holds a Masters in Ethnochoreology from
the University of Limerick in Ireland, and is one of
only four teachers of sean-nós style dance in
